Dr. Busayo Lana
Dentist
Dr. Busayo Lana was born in Nigeria and moved to Maryland at the age of seven. A prestigious Meyerhoff Scholar, Dr. Lana graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a bachelor’s degree in Biological sciences. Her love for science, the arts, and a desire to effect change led her to pursue dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. During her time in school, Dr. Lana volunteered with the Mission of Mercy dental clinic for the greater Baltimore area providing free dental care to the surrounding community.
To further her education, she completed a one-year general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. She now practices in the state of Maryland and is a member of the Maryland State Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lana enjoys traveling the world and spending time with her family.
